Uyen Tieu [pronounced wen tee-yoo] is a veteran media and tech executive and a key thought leader in corporate transformation and business model innovation.
From her time as a strategy executive at Microsoft and Viacom, a divisional lead at CNN to a co-founder of a technology platform acquired by BNY Mellon, Uyen brings an operator lens to scaling businesses and advising corporations and investment firms in business transformation.
A first-generation American born to war-refugees, Uyen has been defined by her parents’ enterprising spirit and unflinching belief in building for a better future. From an early start in Kansas to shrimping in the bayous of Alabama, her family relocated to California at the beginning of the .com boom.
